hoping that you'll hear the song inside of me

I wrote that lyric over 5 years ago... still holds true, though. Hope some of you casual readers can make it to the SixStringCafe on thursday night... gonna be a great show, even if i'm still under the weather.

there's something euphoric about harmonizing.

maybe it's just me... but, i've always loved harmony. just ask my engineer, Randy... he has listened to countless sessions where i want to keep layering on vocal after vocal... and sometimes i just have him loop the part of the song while i practice singing different harmonies. If recording didn't cost money, i think i could spend days on end just sitting there, harmonizing with the melodies.

the resonation and subtle vibration of hitting a harmony is just so sweet to me. perhaps that's why i've always wanted other people involved when i perform... the chance to hear harmony, to know that two or more minds are working towards the same, beautiful end result.

i must say that i'm excited about the chance to harmonize with new, unsung melodies.
