today's selections

i have no words for what i have experienced the past 3 days.
CM and I mused about writing a song about everything...

that's probably the best thing that could describe these emotions, this confusion, this Peace. thankfully, there have a been a few songs that spoke to our turmoil.
at least for me

thanks to Mark Salomon of Stavesacre for being a modern Psalmist. oddly enough, i had been pulling out his CDs again because of recently reading his autobiography (thanks chiquita), and it ends up being this music that helps keep me grounded and sheltered through one of the darkest storms of my up-to-this-point, relatively short life.
