i was recently informed that blogs seem like an overt attempt to "meet people on the internet." Honestly, i don't agree with this... i really don't see how ANYone's blog that i read/have read would come across as a personal ad. Since no one has commented on my blog yet, i have to ask, if for nothing else than just to have a comment, does my blog look like a personal ad?
should i 'de-blog' myself, for fear of picking up some internet strumpet?
i seek the counsel of the blog-savvy.

Yo Calvert,
You inspired me to make my own...when I grow up I want to be just like you...well any way...have a good year in the Creek....love from Winston Salem....peace
I love how you go, and basically re type what I had to say about your blog, very non appreciative David..so DE-BLOG this.
kick the strumpets to me dogg
and no, i never started blogging to meet people; but be warned - there will be people who will read your stuff regularly if you update with consistency
people are weird - don't worry about all that - you are just sharing your thoughts with whoever wants to read them...it's just cheaper than writing a book - and easier to change topics - if people want to be weird they will be - nomatter what you do. some people will choose to see you as a rock star - when you are just trying to be obedient - some people will choose to feel like they know you b/c they know your songs and read your website - while you are just trying to live the life and share what you've learned - you can only strive to serve with passion and obedience - if people try to warp that, don't be surprised - this is a messed up world - but be encouraged, b/c the Lord is not hindered by weird people :)
